In the Communist Party, our orientation toward elections is collective and democratic, being born naturally from our engagement with our community. We engage with elections in order to further platform and win concessions for working people and organized labor, and to work towards a politically independent labor movement and powerful communist party mass base. We do not endorse any candidate aside from our own, but support and pressure other candidates in order to further our strategic goals.

We believe that our vision of a socialist future cannot be imposed onto society but rather must be proven through struggle and won with the full participation of broad progressive forces with organized labor in the lead. We are thusly proud to back the platform and slate of the Support Our Schools (SOS) coalition of labor leaders, educators, and progressive community members during this upcoming election.
